We need to improve the skills that young people have in order to flourish in a changing global economy

Young people have never achieved more out of the education system, but we mustn't be complacent
Too many young people don't do well out of the system
Too many employers still don't think that young people leave education ready for work
And while we are improving, so are our competitors
