More than 4,000 students aged 12 upwards from across the UK are attending the Careers Fest at the Kassam Stadium in Oxford.
They will meet local and national employers including BMW, BT, Microsoft and BP. Vikki Gledhill, manager at the Oxfordshire Education Business Partnership, which is helping to organise the event, said: “In the current economic climate we have to make sure young people are fully aware of the opportunities available”.
