Caroline Evans
The Teaching Awards manage nominations and awards for teachers,
schools and school governors, ensuring that many of those who work
hardest in the education system are recognised and celebrated.
Chief Executive
Caroline Evans took up her current post as Chief Executive of
the Teaching Awards Trust on 1 December 2005.
After graduating from Cambridge with a degree in Natural
Sciences, she worked as an educational publisher at Hodder (now
Hodder Headline) and Macmillan. After a period working in
consultancy she was a founding director of the educational
consultancy EdComs, where she continues to hold a non-executive
role.
She has been a governor, and chair of governors at two schools
in London.
