Peter Lambert OBE
Business in the Community is a membership organisation that
mobilises business for socially beneficially purposes. One of the
Prince's Charities, it engages, supports and challenges its member
companies to improve their positive impact on society.
Deputy Chief Executive
Peter Lambert OBE joined Business in the Community in 1995,
where he worked as West Midlands Regional Director, before moving
to London in 2000 first to work as National Director for
Regeneration and Community Impact and then as London and South East
Regional Director.
Peter began his career in education, first as a teacher and then
leading the Insight Programme for the Careers Research Advisory
Centre. In 1984 he became a Schools Inspector and developed an
Education Business Compact with the Birmingham Heartlands
Development Agency, before setting up the Birmingham Education
Business Partnership in 1991.
