Claire Wedderman

Claire looks after our Inspiring Governance work in the North of England, welcoming new schools and volunteers to the project, as well as working with various employers to run volunteering schemes for staff. Often found speaking to groups of would-be volunteers about the benefits of governance for the individual as well as the community, Claire enjoys spreading the word of governance.

Prior to this, she worked as a Project Manager for a health initiative in Teesside. With a background in Science, Claire graduated in Genetics from the University of Glasgow, with a PGCE from the University of Manchester. She has worked as a Science teacher in Blackpool, and more recently for charities, on both education and health projects in the North East of England.
