Susan manages the charity’s communications and campaigns for our Inspiring Governance programme, responsible for all aspects of communications and campaigns that encourage volunteers to sign up as school governors, support employers engagement activities and engage schools and trusts to use the Inspiring Governance recruitment service.
Susan joined the charity in April 2021, having previously worked as a marketing communications consultant within the education sector and previous to that, leading communication programmes for a global academic publishing organisation.
Susan is passionate about the opportunities education can provide, and that they should be available to everyone. She volunteers as a mentor for The Girls’ Network, a charity that inspires and empowers girls from the least advantaged backgrounds.
