John joined the British Chambers in January 2011, working with the former Director General, David Frost, on the Independent Sickness Absence Review and later helped set up the LEP Network. He now leads the BCC’s labour market policy, including skills and education, pay and pensions, migration and employment regulation. He also leads the Business is Good for Young People campaign.
Prior to joining the BCC, John worked in multimedia production and later advising FTSE 100 businesses about their sponsorship activities, before a spell as an MP’s Researcher in Westminster.
