Primary Futures week set for 13-17th October

Primary Futures week from 13 – 17 October 2014 will celebrate and raise the profile of primary schools whilst focussing on helping children understand the link between their learning, the world of work and future opportunities.

During the week of 13 to 17 October, we are encouraging schools across the country to open their doors to visitors from their local communities including MPs, councillors and representatives from the business world, to see for themselves the work going on raising aspirations and preparing children for the future. Over 100 MPs have already signed up.

The initiative is part of the Primary Futures project led by NAHT in partnership with the charity Education and Employers Taskforce.
