Learning for Jobs: Synthesis report of the OECD Reviews of Vocational Education and Training
21 June 2010
A report by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development
This report argues for government support of vocational education training (VET) to balance skills shortages and gaps in the labour market with the needs of employers and students in the context of the global financial crisis. Career guidance is cited as one of the key ways in which to engage young people in thinking about the relationship between their educational and career paths.
