Nothing in Common 2

In 2013, Education and Employers released ‘Nothing in Common: The Career Aspirations of Young Britons Mapped Against Projected Labour Market Demand 2010-2020’.

The report mapped the career aspirations of 10,729 British teenagers against the projected demand for UK employment over the period 2010-2020 as established by UKCES analysts. The report found that statistically there is nothing in common between the career aspirations of young people and labour market demand. Nearly six years on, Education and Employers will again examine this relationship using updated labour market information.
