To accompany the launch of Primary Futures, the Education and Employers Taskforce and National Association of Head Teachers published a guide to employer engagement for primary school leaders.
The guide discusses some of the most common activities that primary school teachers across the country organise with employers and employees to support learning and help primary school pupils make a connection between what they learn at school and the wider world. Drawing on relevant analysis and evaluations from the small number of robust studies available, it sets out what is known about the benefits for pupils of such activities and captures the first-hand experience of primary school teachers involved in running these events and activities.
