Ben is a Schools Engagement Coordinator having joined Education and Employers in October 2022. In this role, he supports teachers from both primary and secondary schools to use the Primary Futures and Inspiring the Future platforms. As well as this, Ben works alongside teachers to plan and deliver career-related activities for their classes and schools.
Prior to joining the charity, Ben taught RE in secondary schools for five years, teaching all year groups (Year 7-13). He especially enjoyed teaching A-Level RE as it tapped into what he studied at university. In 2016, Ben graduated from Chichester University with a degree in Theology and Religion and in 2017 studied for a PGCE in Secondary Religious Education at Canterbury Christchurch University. Having worked with young people in his role as a teacher, Ben understood the importance of career-related learning which led him to his current position with the charity.
